Multidisciplinary artwork to the format of choral evensong by Bettina Furnée & Lucy Sheerman, set to music by Cheryl Frances-Hoad. Candid responses from interviews with twelve couples about a potential space journey to the moon form the basis of a libretto and score for adult and children’s choirs and organ, with digital projections and new writing by Vahni Capildeo, Miranda Doyle, Shukria Rezaei and Sara Mailtland. Premiered at Peterborough Cathedral in 2017, and toured to four locations in East Anglia (King’s Lynn, Kingston, Cambridge, London) in 2019, the year of the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing (and of Brexit).
